Chapter 2: His Promise

Here's the chapter two cover! I've been doing all my chapter covers as full paintings, which may or may not be a good thing (they take a long long time!) But it's nice to fully render my characters sometimes, so on that side it IS good.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes about Flynn. You guys are lovely, really.
Unfortunately, Flynn was diagnosed with a pretty aggressive form of cancer on Saturday. He's actually not feeling too bad right now, he's eating again and is pretty playful. We've got a finite amount of time with him, though, so we don't really know whats going to happen. I'm just spending as much time with him as I can.

The vote incentive for today is a little animation showing the progress of painting the cover, from pencil sketch to finish. I think it's pretty nifty (though probably because I just learned how to make animated gifs last night in order to do it O__o)
